2. Responsibilities
- Management: Responsible for implementing, monitoring, and reviewing this policy, ensuring that all staff receive appropriate training, and that safe systems of work are in place.
- Employees: Must take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of others, follow all safety procedures, and report hazards, accidents, or near misses promptly.
- Visitors and Contractors: Expected to comply with safety instructions while on our premises or work sites.
3. Risk Assessment
We will regularly identify hazards, assess risks, and implement control measures to reduce the risk of injury or harm. This includes risks associated with plumbing work, bathroom fittings, retail operations, and use of equipment.
4. Training and Competence
All staff will receive relevant health and safety training for their role, including safe use of tools, equipment, and materials. Training will be updated regularly to reflect best practices and changes in legislation.
5. Workplace Safety Measures
- Ensure that all plumbing and fitting work is carried out safely and in accordance with industry standards.
